Morning Announcements

Thu. 1/17/19

Tryouts for Wrestling and Girls' Volleyball will begin on Monday, January 28th after school.  You must have a valid physical on file in order to tryout.  If you plan to try out please check the list outside of the cafeteria to make sure you have a current physical on file.

Attention all students interested in trying out for the wrestling team.  There will be a MANDATORY meeting on Tuesday, January 22nd in the gym.  Come prepared with workout clothes and gym shoes. Questions? See Coach Miller in Rm A-10.

The Environment Club will meet next Thursday after school in A9. We will be working on the wetland plants. Hope to see you there!

Yearbooks are on sale now! Purchase your yearbook by March 18th for $40.00. After March 18th, the price goes up to $45.00. Please use the website and school code listed on the advertisement posters or see Mrs. Tomasulo in room B-04.

All members of Anchored 4 Life:  A general meeting for Anchored 4 Life will be held after school on Tuesday, January 22nd in room B-9 with Mrs. Hinson. Bring a snack. Drinks will be provided.  Any questions?  Contact Mrs. Hinson in B-9.

All students:  Remember to bring in a pair of new socks for the SCA "Socks for the Soul" sock collection. The collection box is in the atrium.  Do your part to lend a helping hand.  Our goal is 100 pairs!

All Students:  Make sure you check the Lost and Found at the back of the cafeteria.  All items not claimed by the end of the month will be donated.  Check the main office for eye glasses and keys.

Attention all students! Are you interested in having voice and choice in the activities within our new library? If so, please complete the Makerspace Survey located in your grade level Schoology Group under Resources!

Attention 8th Graders applying to the Math & Science Academy.  The required exam is this evening from 5:00-7:30 at Ocean Lakes High School.  Try to be there by 4:45!  Good Luck!!

Attention 8th Graders!!  The ATC Early Decision Deadline is today!!

8th graders:  Anyone interested in the Advanced Fitness class see Mrs. Dull or Mr. Peterson for the application!

The SCA sponsored "Socks for the Soul" sock collection runs through January 31st. The collection box is in the atrium. All socks donated will be given to the 99 for the 1 mobile homeless outreach. Our goal is 100 pairs of socks!  Let’s see if we can crush that goal!  Go, JETS!

Are you missing your coat, PE uniform, sweatshirt, or any other personal item? Please check the Lost and Found in the back of the cafeteria.  Check the main office for eye glasses and keys as well.  All items will be donated at the end of the 9 weeks.

ALL CLMS Yearbook Committee members are to meet with Mrs. Tomasulo tomorrow, January 16th, after school in Room B-04. If you cannot make the meeting, please let Mrs. Tomasulo know by the end of the day.
