Student Activities

• All students trying out for an Interscholastic Athletic Activity must have a current VBMSL Athletic Physical Form on file in the Student Activities Office prior to the first day of tryouts and must be a registered CLMS student. The Physical form is different from the Entrance to School Health Form. Many parents confuse the two forms.
• The only physical form we can accept for the 2024-2025 school year is the form marked “UPDATED MAY 2021” in the upper left corner of the first page and it can be the HS or the MS form. No other forms can be accepted and there are no exceptions.
• The Physical form must be signed and dated by a doctor. The physical form must be dated by the doctor after May 1, 2024. A doctor’s office or insurance company will tell the parents that a physical is good for one year but the VBCPS School Board Policy states that in order for a physical to be valid for a school year it must be dated after May 1.
• Many local doctors’ offices and clinics have our old forms on file, so it is extremely important that parents understand the doctor must fill out the updated form and cannot submit a different computerized version of the form.
• Tryout dates for all other sports will be advertised on our webpage.
• Students must be enrolled in CLMS in order to tryout.
• No transportation will be provided for tryouts. All students must provide their own transportation to and from CLMS.

Fall

• Football Tryouts begin on Wednesday, August 14.
• Soccer Tryouts begin on Monday, August 19.

• Parent Pick-up and Activity Bus will depart in the front of the building.
• Beginning September 5th for the remainder of the Fall Season: Parent Pick-up by 5:45 PM and Activity Bus Departs 5:55 PM
  • August 16th - 31st: Parent Pick-up by 5:55 PM and Activity Bus Departs at 6:05 PM
• Parent Pick-up: if you are not at CLMS in the front of the building by the Parent Pick-up designated time, your student will be placed on an activity bus to make sure the student gets home safely.
