IMPORTANT tryout Information for Fall Sports – Football, Soccer, and Cheerleading.

Any student trying out for a Corporate Landing Middle School team is required to have an Athletic Physical on file in the Student Activities Office prior to tryouts.  The from must be complete and signed and dated by a physician after May 1, 2021 in order to be valid.  Please note that the Athletic Physical Form is different than the Entrance to School Health Form.  Many parents confuse the two forms so please double check the form you have to make sure it is the correct from for Athletics.  We cannot allow any student to participate in any part of tryouts without the Athletic Physical completely filled out by the parent and signed and dated by the physician.  The Athletic Physical Form is available on our website.

Winter I season is here! Boys’ Basketball, Girls’ Basketball, and Academic Challenge.

•Tryouts begin Monday, November 15th.

•Must have a current Athletic Participation Physical form on file or you can’t tryout for basketball.  Academic Challenge does not require a physical.

•Activity buses will leave at 6:40pm from 11/15 – 11/30.  December 2nd they will go back to leaving at regular time of 6:10pm

•No activities on the early release Wednesdays : 11/17, 12/1, 12/8, 12/15, 1/5, 1/12, and 1/26

Please ensure that students athletes have the following items for tryouts/practice:

1. A completed sports physical approved by a medical doctor on the correct VBMSL form. A student may not tryout without a valid sports physical completed on a VBMSL form.
2. Athletic attire and sneakers, cleats if you have them.
3. Each student should bring his or her own water supply for tryouts due to Covid guidelines.
4. Bring a facial mask to wear at all times except during athletic participation on the field of play.
5. If a student athlete is sick do not come to tryouts.
6. Tryouts/Practices are closed to any parents or any spectators.  Please do not congregate on the school property, including by the fences, stands, or parking lot.  Remain in your cars at pick up time and your students will be released to you.
